Alkhatam Signet Ring- By Cleopatra's Bling

Sale price Price $90.00 CAD Regular price $212.00 CAD Unit price  per

Olivia sources ancient and rare coins from the back streets of the Grand Bazaar of Istanbul, Turkey. She re-creates designs with them to make modern-day, wearable art. For men, we recommend this as a pinky ring.

The Alkhatam Signet Ring is available in our widest range of sizes to complement most people’s hands. It features a soft diamond-shape face with engraving.

Signet rings traditionally bore the seal or crest of the wearer. They were considered to be such powerful tools that in ancient times they were often destroyed upon the individual’s death. Arabic Signet rings spread as far and wide as the language itself and represent the power and prominence of the ancient Arabic empires.

Fit & Care:

Your unique piece of jewellery by Cleopatra's Bling has been handmade using traditional jewellery techniques and exceptional materials.

As we hand craft each piece, slight variations are to be expected and are what make our designs one-of-a-kind.

Please be gentle with your treasures and do not apply lotions and perfume while wearing your gold plated pieces. Please avoid water when wearing gold plated jewellery.

Gold has a tendency to scratch, so extra care should be taken when wearing and cleaning to maintain quality and appearance.

Sterling silver that is worn regularly requires less care, so we encourage you to wear your silver treasures daily.

I hope my creations bring you luck.

About Cleopatras Bling:

The founder and creator of the brand is Olivia Cummings.

"

Olivia, born a wanderer. From childhood, surrounded by trinkets, crystals and her treasure chest. With an overwhelming sense of adventure – that something else is always waiting to be discovered.

Cleopatra’s Bling was born from an adoration of travel, the etherial, and the symbolic.  A fusion of eastern allure and western style. Dreamed up in Paris, Olivia moved to Turkey to learn the art of adornment in the Grand Bazaar of Istanbul.

She carved wax, hammered metals and sourced stones while sipping on thick Turkish coffee. Today, Olivia is between Istanbul, Paris and Melbourne with a scarf in her hair, and a ring on every finger. She creates jewellery with emotional and historical relevance, dipping into the collective memory, all while respecting ancient jewellery-making traditions.

Olivia wishes that her creations remind us all of our innate connectivity, our cosmic relevance and hopes that they accompany you throughout your discoveries.
We wish you all a Bon Voyage."
