AboutThe Saguaro cactus 

The Saguaro cactus only grows in the great Sonoran desert of southern Arizona, southeastern California and northern Mexico and is one of the most recognizable and iconic features of this harsh and arid region. A master of desert survival, very little water is used instantly when collected. Instead it is stored to use during periods of drought. The Saguaro takes some 200 years to reach its full height of 40- 45 feet.

About Andrew Pielage 

Andrew Pielage is an architectural and travel photographer based out of Phoenix, Arizona. Internationally published, He has over twenty years of experience doing what he loves -- creating photography by capturing the heart and inspiring the imagination. Born to an adventurous mother and a geologist father, his childhood was spent exploring the backroads of the Southwest. This constant desert travel rooted his artistic soul in classic landscape photography.
